Letter

Dear Daughter,
During my days I’ve learned a lot about internet safety. I want to be a great role model on how to be safe over the internet. First thing to be safe Is to tell me what exactly you want to use the internet for so I can be aware of what your doing and who you are talking to at all times. Second of all If I am not home please don’t talk to any strangers you do not know or who make you feel uncomfortable. If someone is making you feel uncomfortable call me immediately. If a spam pop’s up and requires you to give you your name and personal information don’t even bother to observe it. Click out of it when you know it doesn’t look like a safe website. Don’t invite strangers over if they say they are your friends because not everyone is who they say they are and most of them are just sick.
I’ am not trying to ruin the fun of you being on the internet but it is only because I care for you and I don’t want strangers showing up to my house with out me knowing. Don’t invite strangers over if they say they are your friends because not everyone is who they say they are and most of them are just sick. To help you I will give you examples on what could happen if you don’t follow internet safety rules. You could post a picture and send it to the one who “cares” for you and this person can send your picture all over the internet and he/she wouldn’t be the only one saying he/she cared for you.

If you feel like you want to run away or you feel like you need someone to talk to. I will always be here for you when you and we can talk about anything. I care so much about you and I trust that you will listen to what I ‘m telling you and see that I do care for you and there is no reason to run away from your problems. If you need a friend or a supervisor to talk to then don’t be afraid to say what’s on your mind. It’s a good thing to hear you say how you feel about all of the stress and drama you have in your life.
